FREE Windows 10 Software Upgrade
Microsoft is discontinuing support for the Windows 7 operating system on January 14th, 2020. If you haven’t upgraded by this date, you will no longer receive important security updates which puts you at risk of malicious software attacks.
In an effort to help with this problem, we are offering one hundred Cape Cod residents a free upgrade to the Windows 10 operating system before January 14th, 2020. Simply have a computer with a valid Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 license and we will update you to Windows 10 for only the cost of the time it takes to do the upgrade (a savings of up to $199) and any additional hardware upgrades that are necessary*.
What Is Included In This Service?
This will be a clean install, which means the drive will be formatted and the software will be installed on a blank drive just like how they do it at the factory. This method also removes all of the junk files that slow your computer down which accumulate over time and would remain if doing a typical update. When performing a clean install, we backup your data from all of the common areas where files are stored to an external drive and then restore them to where they originally were after the upgrade is completed. We also run a report of any additional software that you have on your system and reinstall the compatible programs where applicable. Once all of that is done we will return the system to you.
If you are unfamiliar with Windows 10, you can schedule a training session with one of our techs when your computer is returned to you and they will go over the basics of how the new operating system works.

* Limit 1 upgrade per customer. Average time to upgrade takes about 1.5 hours at $80/hr ($120). Some systems may require hardware upgrades to make them compatible with Windows 10.
